Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. is pleased to announce that the Caddo Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will be open to the public for rifle sighting in preparation for the upcoming hunting season.
The public rifle sight-in day is scheduled for October 8, 2024. To accommodate everyone, time slots are available for registration at the following times: 7:30 am, 8:30 am, 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. All sighting in activities will conclude by 4:30 pm.
Targets will be provided, and trained Caddo sheriff’s deputies will be available to assist participants. To reserve a time slot, participants must call ahead. It’s important to note that shooters need to bring their own ammunition, eye and ear protection, and have their weapons unloaded upon arrival.
