LearningRx Shreveport Earns Three Prestigious Awards at LearningRx National Convention
**Shreveport, LA** – LearningRx Shreveport is proud to announce that Owner/ Executive Director Donesa Walker and her staff were recently honored with three prestigious awards at the LearningRx national convention held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The awards include the 2024 Community Impact Award, the Compass Award, and the 2024 Customer Service Award.
“The Community Impact Award recognizes the significant number of clients served by a center within a year,” stated LearningRx CEO Kim Hanson. “Donesa and her team have made an incredible difference in the Shreveport community and surrounding areas. We wanted to acknowledge their hard work and dedication among their peers.”
Donesa stated, “Earning the Community Impact Award and being recognized as the Top center in the nation is such an honor. Our mission is to grow brains in our community and beyond to enjoy learning no matter what your age. We want all people to be able to learn to perform better, faster, and easier with effective brain training. Our team at LearningRx Shreveport is top notch at making that happen.”
“The Compass Award is a new honor introduced this year,” added Hanson. “It recognizes brain training centers that have achieved over $1 million in cash income while making a substantial impact in their communities. We are thrilled to recognize Shreveport for their outstanding accomplishments and the many lives they have changed.”
Donesa and her team were all smiles as they accomplished this top honor of being recognized as the first center in the world for the LearningRx system to break this glass ceiling. “ It is fun being recognized as the best in brain training in this system both nationally and internationally!” laughed Donesa as she smilingly joked that they would have to get another place to put all the awards they have achieved including many other of the highest honors in the community and in the LearningRx company for over 16 years and counting. The LearningRx Shreveport center will celebrate over 1600 brains trained and 16 years in our community on 8/21/24. “We are hosting a special family game night event on 8/16/24 at our center to encourage families to grow their brains together as well as an anniversary party on 9/8/24 to honor Sara Heflin as our 2024 Student of the Year,” Donesa said.
“The Customer Service Award is given to centers that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction,” Hanson explained. “We are immensely proud to have such an exceptional team as part of the LearningRx franchise. Their brain training programs have not only helped countless clients excel academically, professionally, and personally but have also ensured exceptional customer service. The entire team should take pride in this award and their efforts to make learning accessible for individuals of all ages.”
